i have a 96 trans am lt1 6 speed , with k&n cai, short shift, and borla exhaust muffler with one inlet , dual out let, on a stock y-pipe, and i was wanting to get headers and a electric cutout. I just need to know if i need to replace my y pipe and cats and if i need just one cutout as well? I have no clue i have heard many of things but dont know what to do. does anyone have a pic of an exhaust with the way i want it , like i said i have stock manifold, with 2 cats on a y-pipe, with borla muffler. it sounds good but i want something that sounds better.
