Has anyone tried the new Edelbrock Air Gap Intake?

No, saw an advertisement for it in my new GMHTP mag. Don't know much about it, but if you want to pop for a new intake manifold, I say go for it. All I saw was longer runners, which increase torque output. I'd personally would just have mine ported or something.

Its definnitly going to not heat up as much as the stock intake that mats right to the lifter valley. Its the same reason the LS1 has its own cover.

It does look good. But I don't know if it gives much more power. It would be nice if someone had some dyno numbers.

also should be a link in that post to a write up on ls1tech.com aswell. give it time before you buy one. let the people with a ton of money be the guinea pig. see how it does vs a ported intake and how much they gain when it is ported.

I didn't want to buy it. I just want to see what it was.
