    Dropping an LT1 out of a bird

    Is removing the engine of an LT1 similar to the LS1? Any write-ups anybody knows about and might be able to direct me towards them?

    Yes it will be virtually identical to removing an LS1, with variations of course in wiring connections, motor mounts, and some other small things. Alot of guys take them out the bottom via removing the k member, but the car needs to be up somewhat high to do it that way.
