disabling the governor
my friend has a 94 firebird formula LT1 auto and governor stops it at 110 how do you disable it?

you need to have it tuned out of your PCM. You have many options, Mail order tunes, dyno tunes, buy programing to do it your self. How fast do you want to go?

better make sure those tires are H rated or better

Well speedo stops at like 115 so i cant really tell how fast im goin after that but speed limiter stops it at 110. is it better to take it to a place to get it reprogrammed or buy one? how ofter would i need to get it reprogrammed?

Just need to get it programmed once unless you get major mods (new cam, etc.)
If you have a 115mph speedo you can swap it out for a decent one as there are many wreckers that have them.
Might as well get power program as well as upped shift points (if you have an A4)
