    decent heads

I want to put a set of aftermarket heads on my 93 LT1. Anyone got some good suggestions? Also, how will teh computer adapt to the new heads? I know it can't be reprogrammed

Well you've got GTP, LLoyd Elliot, AFR, Advanced Induction, Ronald Trigg, TrickFlow just to name a few... Some flow better than others but they're all good performance heads.

As for PCM tuning, your choices are pretty much narrowed down to Mad Tuner, FAST (Ed Wright), PCM For Less, or you can do the tuning yourself using Moates software.

to go with your heads, dont forget: new camshaft, new timing set, new lifters, pushrods, valve springs, roller rockers, valve seals, gaskets, port matched intake, larger throttle body, upgraded clutch if a 6 speed, new converter and tranny rebuild if it's an auto, high flow intake and full exhaust if you dont already have it, and of course tuning.

93 still has a chip. You need a custom chip burned or someone who can burn one for you.

That is what I thought...anyone burn custom chips for the 93? or would it probably be less of a headache to just buy a newer LT1 and harness etc and modify the hell outta it?

I touched on this already in the post above:

I'm aware you have a '93. Your stock ECU will work with those mods. The biggest issue though might be finding a '93 tuner in your area.
