    Question converter problems need help

    hey i am gutting out my catalytic converter and just need to know if my check engine light will go off, and if i will need to get 02 sims? I have a 96 firebird trans am LT1
    need some info asap

    Yes you will need O2 sims or it will have to be programed out of your computer.
