Clutch No Go
the car is a 95 vert and when you put it in gear it just revs up like it is in neutral could it be a slave problem or clutch

Do any of the gears work, i.e have you tried reverse, or 2nd, etc. Will the car move at all? If the engine is running and you can put it in gear while pushing in the clutch, I dont think it is a hydraulic issue.

Black/Black- 96 Vert Z28-RIP/94 TT Z28
Sounds like the clutch is not engaging with the flywheel. Try the other gears like stated above and if does'nt work then it's probably time for a new clutch install. If the slave was out you would'nt be able to put it in gear.
