a/c compressor question
Does anyone know how to remove an a/c compressor and install a bypass pully on a 1995 camaro z 28(5.7 ltr v8).

Yeah, its a HUGE PITA. There are mounting bolts in the front and the back. Difficult to get to if you have longtubes. Then you have to remove the refridgerant lines, just don't get caught when you release it in the air (illegally). The bypass pulley is much easier to install, it just uses the 3 front mounting points. You may have to move some tranny cooler lines and some other things for more room and access. Good luck.

Bring it to a shop and have them evacuate the system first.
