Best way to clean engine/compartment
What is the safest and the best way to clean my engine and engine compartment?... I was going to use some good degreaser, a rag and a water hose but then I changed my mind lol... Any suggestions?

I wouldn't use a water hose. That's a good way to ruin an opti.

yea especially for a non-vented opti...but I usually get some simple green and hose everything down with it, let it soak - then hose off with water
if not...hope you got some fresh elbow grease on the shelf

all you have to do is disconnect your battery, wrap the electronic sensors in foil, spray engine degreaser, brush a little, and hose it off. Then leave the hood up for a few hours or longer and let it all dry before starting the engine.
