Ok i am in the planning stage to swap a V8 into my 1996 V6 Camaro... i found a LT-1 from a Impala SS and want to know what i will need to change to instal the engine in the car... I know already that i need plenty of stuff to change from the v6 to the v8. Plus since the impala is auto and i want to put a 6 speeds trans, what i will have to change again on the engine to make it work with the 6 spds???

your best bet is honestly to find a v8 donor car. it will be much simpler to do it this way. also the LT1 from the bodys are iron head motors
