    anyone have shortys on their LT1?

    Does anyone have shorty headers on their LT1 if so what do u have ( brand name? Ypipe or xpipe? Ory? Catback?) and how does it sound? I came across and good deal and I wanna hear opinion from other shorty owners

    dont go shorties...they flow just a fraction better then stock..go long or mid

    slp makes the only shorties with 1 3/4" primaries, other then that mid or longer

    Well if for some reason you can only run shorties because of your state regs. I can see why go with shorties. If you can get away from them go with LT instead.

    For me I use JBA's step headers they are a good quality, but very expensive. I even run with there y-pipe setup with an SLP loudmouth system. It sounds awesome.

    Ok I just found a guy with slp shorties and all kind of parts for my car same year and color, u don't find that very often! Oh another thing what do yall clean ur LT1 engines with mine has dust on it and I power washed it once and the coil pack frien maybe cause it was hot I don't know but what do yall clean yalls engine with and what's the shiney stuff yall put on it to make the engine shine?
