In short, your tranny is slipping. You will need a rebuild soon.

In short, your clutches are slipping. You will need a rebuild soon. Prevent any hard downshifting for the meantime.

I had the same thing happen with mine. About a month or 2 later of abusing it, I gunned it and heard a loud pop. Then I had no forward gears. Had to drive a 1/4 mile home in reverese.

lol all these people wanting a m6. lol. have someone build your tranny right. ive had my a4 built for 3 years. racing when ever i can and a 3k stall and no problems. do your homework and build something to support your mods.

Yep +1 keep the a4. Mine blew up back in April, and I took it to Frank to get rebuilt. Still goin strong. Its a lot cheaper than doing the m6 conversion.
