Aluminum Intake Elbow?

What do you guys think of this product? Anyone have any experience with it? It is an aluminum intake elbow...I think it is basically a 1LE elbow but made of aluminum.

Not a big fan of the aluminum ones. I worry about it getting heat-soaked. I went with the 1LE myself.

I have one. Its the black powdercoated trickflow one. It doesnt heat soak for me...but the only thing I dont like about it is that its not flexible, so its a lot harder to get on and off. The reason I got one is because my stock rubber one had holes in it which caused a small vaccuum leak. I figured why replace when I could upgrade.

I have a powdercoated one, not sure about the heat soak, but I don't worry too much about that because I'm not a huge power freak. I think they do clean up the engine bay compared to the plastic one though.

I have a 1LE on my current car, and it's considerably cooler to the touch when warm than the Trick Flow piece I had on my last Z.

I agree. I also went with the 1LE elbow. I got it a few years back for like $60.

I think I got mine for the same price. But they've all gone up in price now. I need to get a new one since mine was stolen.

Yeah, I just got a Year One/Next Generation catalog today in the mail and I thought I saw them for around $70-$90. I can't remember.
