It was my first time, and I didn't do too much better. I pulled 13.766 in LS1 (first time, and I am in M6)
What was the RT? I did 14.3 with a 93 A4 3.23 rear but my rt was .4 so you could say it was capable of 13.9. It was hot also. You are on the money though. If you get longtubes it will make a huge difference.

i ran a 13.7 in summertime in california, just because you beat someone on the street doesnt mean they dont run better times than you, anything can happen on the street.

What? No. Thats not how it works dude. Your time does not start until you cross the beam at the start. You can have a 20 second reaction time and still run a 9 second 1/4 mile.

No, and I totally agree. But I have seen a ton of LS1s run and they are typically in the mid 13 range bone stock. I've raced a few LT1s on the street, both of us spinnin and me coming out on top to 100. 13.7 in the summer time is hard to believe. Ill take it for your word, but its hard to believe.

Yep +1... I was about to post that. Reaction time has zero affect on ET.

Lots of LT1s have run into the 13s (13.6s and 13.7s, and even a few 13.5s). That's faster than most TB SS'.

I believe they have run in the 13s, just not in the dead heat of summer. Maybe a 13.99 but 13.7s is just hard to believe. Summer weathers' a bitch.....

I meant my Impala BTW. There isn't a stock LT1 F-body on the street touching my TBSS. It goes 13.5s regradless of track or street, hell it'll go a 13.9 in the rain

Maybe not from a dig to 1/4 mile, but if your TB is only trapping 98mph, then a stock LT1 will run you down on the top end, especially a 6 speed. And from any kind of a roll, probably a dead heat until the speeds get up there and the LT1 starts moving away.

And also, during the summer where I live, over +10,000 ft DAs are fairly typical. So I know about the whole summer weather thing.

Nah, the TB traps at about 101. Maybe as high as 103 in some really chilly weather..... For now though. Should be trapping around 105 soon..... It does fairly well on the roll. I have yet to try anybody out on the roll yet. The Imp is def the faster of the two though.... It'll trap 100 in the dead of summer. Probably 107 once it gets tuned out and I get my intake setup finished this winter.

10,000 feet. Thats absurd....... I cry like a friggin baby when the DA gets above 3000.......

    Huh? Computers? 101-101?

Well one, TBSS aint stock although there have been a few to trap 101 stock, especially 2wd's which mine aint though. Two, I'm on the east coast, lot better air than in TX. Next I got the same motor as you do w/ only about 800 more lbs so why not? My buddy was trapping at 104, in his pretty much stock 05 GTO, all night and I was going 101. He was running 13.4s and I was going 13.5s. Till he got his launch down and went a 13.2 and 13.1 AT 105. And right now I have some small lingering vacuum issues as well. My TBSS aint slow dude...

Wow have I sidetracked this thread.
