i bet he just kept it in good condition and switched out the odometer. 39 miles? he must live a block away from a dealership and bought it the day it arrived.

    1999 camaro SS

my 99 camaro had 20 kilometers (12.5 miles) on it before dealer prep and 40 kilometers (25 miles) after so he MAY have drove it home or trailered it and then this guy did the same. but it still seems low wither way.

So does a 1LE have any more HP than a regular Z28? Or is it just suspension related.

Damn, get an LS2 GTO or 03/04 Cobra for that price. Sure, its nice, but I hope the engine starts sitting that long. I hope the owner started it up every once in awhile to make sure stuff still moved properly and the gasoline didn't go bad. I think only a serious collector would be interested in this car. Definately a gem if the numbers are accurate.

it may be worth it to the right person with allot of money but if you bought a car like that what would you do with it. Drive it?? that would be pointless. I personally could think of better things to spend that amount of cash on other than a car that would have to be put in a glass box.

never heard of anything but lighter weight and no ac and such items left off (like under coating and sound deading) manual windows and so on. to me its not worth it. if you are looking to make money off of it , you would have to lock it up for 20 more years, atleast.

sounds like the only people that it would benefit were the people that it was designed for 12 yrs ago. that guy should have just left it on the market for the road racers. he may have wasted his time holding onto a plain car.

yup, thats prolly why he's selling it.. PLAIN.. Bad choice to save that car out of all the cars to save. Why not buy an SS and save that? gee... Instead he bought a plain 1LE. Like, buying a 6 banger camaro and storing it. Not that there is anything wrong with a 6 banger because I used to have one, but if you had a choice to buy and never use it, then why not an SS?

car is in beautiful condition no doubt, but a 1LE is not worth 35k IMO. I could say yes if it was the last 1LE ever made or something. The only LT1 style car that is worth near 35k would be a LT4 SS or LT4 firehawk.

or a vette. thats where the money would be a 12 yr old brand new vette. or like you said an SS or Firehawk.. i think he made a poor choice. if i had to do it now with a car i dont even know what it would be. how bout you if you had to go to the lot in the morning and buy a car to store what would it be.. im thinking a ZO6..

i agree, the factory lt4's will be the only sought out version of the 4th gen f-bodies. hell my 96 ss has been cut up more than a playboy centerfold
