that is becuase they knew no one would buy it on its look only..and especially the interior..so they threw the ugly dog a very little bone ..kind of like telling the ugly child .."you are beautiful on the inside (even tho not the case with the maro) while the hotter sister is out getting looked at by all.

Ok giving it a kiss was a bit of a stretch.......but I have put it in the garage and then went back and looked at it, just to look at it.

You do realize that the Firebird is considered the red headed step child of the F-bodies. That's why they added all that bric-a-brac inside and out. Call it bait to attract customers.

Hardly. The rivalry between the siblings has been on since Pontiac released the Firebird midway through the 67 MY. I've been a hard core Camaro fan since their debut in Sept 66. I've owned 14 of them in the intervening decades.

More like friendly banter (like you'd taunt a friend) than jealousy...

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder friend...

I think the best looking F-bodies were the 1st gen Camaros with the RS option (hide away headlights). 10 of those CamarosI owned were 1st gens...

First gen camaro is definitely the most desirable going strictly by the money they bring at barrett-jackson.however imho the 2nd,3rd,and 4th gen firebird/trans am are the better looking of the two.

Push comes to shove my favorite body style TA is the 76 MY. Last year for that front end style.

i liked a white 72 455 TA with the shaker and the smokey and the bandit TA will always be a classic. Not too sure bout the knight rider model though. Love my 98 inside and out.

As far as Camaro the 1st with hideaways were nice and I also real liked if I remember it right since I haven't seen my friends in years it was a 70 1/2 with the big grill and split bumpers it was blue with blk stripes and some crager SS and that car was just sexy with those curves. I did like the 98 to 02 SS exterior but the interior and radio just makes the car look cheap.

    Worked on me too.

This is getting fun here! Banter between the F-bodies, and I prefer the TA because everybody had the Camaros, so to be different I choose Pontiac. I do think cars with hide-a-way headlights are the sh*t, RS Camaros like that rock. Like the GTO's back in the day.

YKYDATA when you prefer all the bric-a-brac to the plain-jane Camaro.

Ah, I love red-heads! They're so HOT. I married one....
