I don't know I've been around these cars longer than most others and I know and understand the History of the Model. To me it's kind of dumb to make up a false performance RPO that may confuse Future Firebird Owners.
But hey whatever you want to do man, I mean it's your car and personalizing it is what makes it unique.

If you think Ws.7's are silly, then I guess Z28's are silly, too. It's the same thing. Z28's and Trans Am's have boring hoods, It's the SS and Ws6's that have the Ram Air hoods, same motor. Silly Z28's.
There is a pretty big diffrence between what the factory calls a car and the name a group of guys, who like the look of a ws6 so they make there cars look like one, give to thier car.

At least the Z28 RPO is a legitamate Performance Pkg that dates all the way back to 1967. And remember the Trans Am didn't always have a Boring hood.

    Wow...

all I am saying-- from what LS1.com has taught me. WS.7 means-- I had a regular TA and I converted it to look like a WS6. But I am not trying to pass it off as a WS6.

So if I paint my 2002 TA and change the badging from CETA to CETA.1 It would be the same sort of thing.

    My comparison is dead on.

Sorry if I offended you.. I think the badge looks sweet- I just think it is silly to create your own production codes.

Who knows I may feel differently if I was stuck with the Regular TA.

That is specifically why I searched for a WS6 and M6-- the two major requirements for my purchace.
The WS6 part wasn't about performance to me, It is about the look. And the prestige I suppose.

No hard feelings bro-- if you like it that is all that counts.

I was wondering when someone would bring this up. Z28 and SS, 2 different names. Trans Am and Trans Am Ws6, very similar. I see it's ok to bash Ws7's but how many Z28 guys convert their cars to an SS and nobody bats an eyelash, why? Because they don't put a badge on there? It's the same concept, we don't change our wings at least. I guess I just have a 403rwhp poser.

why do you need an emblem to claim anything actions speak louder than words.

This thread has turned into a pissing match that nobody is going to win.

The end result will always be: Its YOUR car - do whatever the fuck you want to it.

If i want to put a Type-R badge on my car, who the fuck are you to tell me otherwise?

Some disagree with the whole WS.7 thing, personally i would rather just have the WS6 and not have to explain to every asshole what a WS7 is - but to each their own

We can sit here for days and argue but it is not going to get anywhere.
