    Lmao.

    And i shopped for 7 months for a WS6. I never seen a one without t-tops
and they might be a standard for T/As even.
WS6 come standard with 6 speaker moonsoon system and traction control too.

All `98 -up Trans Am Coupes have T-tops, The only way to get a non T-top WS6 is to get one of the 600+ Formula WS6's made between `98-00.

Also Monsoons are 10 speaker systems.

I think T-tops is standard on all LS1 Trans Ams, but is an option on LS1 Forumla's. So it might be possible to get a Non T-Top Formula WS6.
Here's my window sticker that shows the T-top as an option

If we really want to split hairs, the wiring diagram shows 12 speakers, as the sail panel subs have a separate voice coil built in, proven by the dual connector at this speaker. The Camaro guys have a different set-up, I believe.

And I seem to remember that you could order a 99-up Trans Am with a hard-top, but it was a special order. I'm pretty sure I've seen one or two at shows. But as most people know, TC was an option, not standard, so glad I did not have to delete this on my car.

Interesting. My bad. Cousin of mine used to work for a pontiac dealer. After buying my ws6 we had a convo at a family reunion. I guess i shouldnt take a guy with a few to drink for his word. And as for tweeter and voice coils..i personally find them a waste of time. I had the once in the door removed when my M-Classes were installed.
    If u want ram air-go with trufiber.com
it not OEM but the dealer i was repairing mine at couldnt find a manufacturer that made OEM GM Ram Air hoods. I settled with Trufiber and its just as sharp as an OEM

The GM dealer next to me said they still have some ram aiir hood if you wanna spend $1200 I think he said. Once it was over a thousand I stopped listening.
I actially loce the door speaker set up in front it gices me a spot to mount my mid and tweeter for mu components without aving to drill holes to flush then in the doors mile the other cars ans I don't have to pillar mouny although I usually do in converts to raise the sound stage off the floor, guss I'll have to see how I like it with the tops off I may have to add a extra tweeter.

I got a lot less of a price from the chevy dealer and didn't even bust out my 20% shop discount card yet since I was a vendor and was contracted to paint new and used cars salesmen and porters scrached and bumped so they could still sell as new. Half the people who bough Challenger SRT8's from planet dodge in Houston when the 1st came out all had scratches wet sanded and buffed and I painted a door on a Crystal BLK one. Poor sucker bought partially damaged cars at $10k over sticker.

All '98+ TRANS-AM coupes came w/ T-tops standard (although there are 2 '98 T/As that were built w/ HT, they were most likely prototypes / engineering mules). The only way to get a HT '98+ Firebird was on a FORMULA ('98-'01) or FIREBIRD ('98-'02).

i bought my car because it was black and i prefer the t/a package...however now ..if i had to do it over...id be in the formula no questions asked
