I've been looking at prices lately. A lot of variety in SoCal. Limited supply. This is one of the best deals I've seen -02 Pontiac Trans Am - Good Condition - Original Owner - but it's not for me. I want a WS6 hood, don't want a convertible, and have mixed feelings about bright red. Maybe it's salvage - I haven't called to check if it's still available. Edit: this is a WS6 thread. I think I've seen a few, probably over $10,000 and none with high mileage.

    Thanks for the congrats!!

It will be nice to see the car arrive and that's for sure!

I do have to say though that my avatar is my old bright silver car

Whilst doing my search i was told by more than one person that in the US Pewter
is not one of the "desirable" colors and they may be cheaper to buy? I never found
the cheaper price to be obvious and they always seemed to be on a par with other colors!?
Pewter is my first choice though so i am happy with the car!!!!!

I will be sure to update soon....

    Trev :O)

Wow I just read this whole thread. Congrats, speedy, on your find, and glad she is on her way to you. I didn't know their was so much to the shipping/inspection/regualtion department, but I did suspect it. The guvmint has to be involved, lol.

Hi Guy... I sure have !! If you go back a couple of pages you will see
pics and everything!! Head off and have a read... car looks a goodun!

I appreciate the help you offered during the search as well.

It is on the water as we speak and due to arrive in the UK around the 22nd.
The ship is headed to Bremerhaven in Germany first and then back down to
    Southampton, here.

Too hi. That should go for about $15,500. What I have seen is milage less than 10K go for 25-30K. Between 10-20K miles go for around $20K. This is assuming the car is in good shape.

    Hi Guys,

Well, after numerous false starts and a couple of things to iron out with customs, i have paid the
duties owing and the car will be released from the docks on Monday!!

Once having had the lighting mods done so it complies with our silly rules i will get her home in
    around ten days time.....

Lucky i am a patient guy!!

Jason.... I hear you but i have no choice!

The car is un-registered and not road legal and the lighting mod i mention is not, unfortunately, just twiddling a few bulbs.

It requires a lot of work and i am no electrician.. automotive or otherwise!

There are so many companies doing cheap hatchet jobs and i will not even entertain one of those...

    Not long now though

    WOW,

It is a good job i am a patient guy!

I STILL have not got the car home yet!!!!!

It has had all of the fiddlin' done on the lights so it is legal
on our roads and i understand it was registered only yesterday
    with the new UK plates.

Bit more money to pay ( be pleased when that stops) and i should
have her home by next weekend tops.....

Been a bit of a dreary day here so i got on and finished the Acrylic dress up
panel which goes over the fuse panel area. Nice that we have a laser machine
at work so i can fiddle about with stuff like this

I did one for the last car but it went with it although that was not a LOTB panel
    but just a WS6 one....

Should look ok once i finally get the car home to fit it!!!

Photobucket continues to thwart me so a click on each image will enlarge it.....
