Thanks for the compliment. I did the racing stripes in the same color as the bottom half of the car but when I screwed up the last color and repainted I forgot to mask out the stripes so I just used the decals.

like i told the other guy, go to hobby stores and toy stores. it's a pretty new item and i'm sure it's getting sold quick. they haven't made them since like 1998? Yes, walmart is a good location too, if you haven't tried that.

well i got a kit from wall mart yesterday. i painted the chassis and engine block/tranny. thats gay that they dont have dual exhaust, wtf? ill just make my own exhaust out of some 1/8 aluminum tubing. some true duals would be badass! this stuff is easy to bend if u fill it with salt or sand to keep it from krimping and heat it. ill try to make a set of headers out of some 1/16. the 1/16 is harder to bend and it takes forever

That's a good idea for the exhaust. I may have to try that since I don't have any extra pieces to make duals. Post some pics I'd like to see what they look like. I'm almost finished with my int. I'll post some more pics tomorrow.

wow, i'm super pissed right now. I had to strip the paint off the body b/c i didn't use primer. then i used primer, it was grey primer-recommended by the hobby shop to use for my particular color [velocity yellow] and i've caked about 5 coats of yellow over top, lost a shit load of detail b/c of it and i can STILL see the gray in certain bevels and valleys....so i bought a new model.

That sucks dude. What kind of paint did you use? Was it model paint or auto paint. I just finished clearcoating mine. I used a gray primer and white paint. It covered in three coats and looks awsome. I should post the finished paint this weekend.

The gray buttons are actually silver. It shows up better when the body is on with the black interior.

I rarely glue the body to the frame, it usually holds itself on after you put on the front and rear ends.
