no we arent driving V-tec..but lets be honest..most people ..especially females would respond to the new civic or mustang much more then our birds...since they know of them..that is why you see douche bag guys in v6 mustang converts..that land hot ass chicks ..alot more then you do firebirds...plus as they say..vettes are panty droppers and "vettes get em wet" ..since the vette has a "rich person" stigma ...i love my bird ..i love the design and so on..but i understand that 99.9% of the time..with my bird next to a vette..people..especially females will go to the vette more then mine..im cool with it..since those in the Know...know

Personally I like the WS6 better than the Firehawk. I just don't dig the decals all over em. The red one for instance with the yellow decals looks like it should say "Hulkamania" across the hood. Love the wheels tho . I love all of em tho. A plain jane Trans Am gets me excited seeing one on the road.

Yep. Saw a woman in a Z28 today (very well kept too) outside the grocery store, six speed and all. Something sexy about it. Used to be an ordinary thing to see but not anymore.

I think women are attracted to the money involved with buying a vette. We should try the same test with a vette next to an AMG mercedes and see what they choose. They are predisposed to pick the one that costs more, its in their genes. (No offense to our ls1 ladies, you're a whole different breed)

Hey, I have an 01 Red T/A Firehawk and I happen to love the "hulkamania" look. To each there own, but my car brings tons of compliments. I had an 01 WS-6 Brand new in 01 and I appreciate both cars very much, but I get way more attention in it than I did in the WS-6.

Eh....I don't really consider a Firehawk to be rare. Nice limited edition?? Sure.

The 10th Anniversary Firehawk I will agree is a rare find.

I like em too, as I said I love all the 4th gen birds. Just I'd rather have the WS6 is all. Cheers.

I dunno man, they made 100,000 T/A's in 1979 and a clean stock one, even with the 403, can still fetch between 12-16k, 16k for one with the 400.

You're absolutely right, and it is much more than the price was new. But think about it in relation to the value of a dollar today. It is less than the price of most new cars. Its a good buy but it aint worth shit when the value of a dollar keeps decreasing.

Firehawks are all for sure rare. They only produced on average about 500-600 per year and I think in 2002 they made just over 1500. They made thousands of trans am's and WS-6 cars. So all firehawks are in some form more rare. I was deciding between mine and a 10th anniversary edition. I bought mine because it was in such prestine condition. The 10th anniversary had many more miles and it was not cared for very well, with no documentation that was the big deal breaker!

    I'd say a Hawk is medium-rare.

I would agree that a car that only has 5,000 like it is somewhat rare.

Hell if you add up all the T/A and T/A ws6 number the T/A is more rare than the ws6 T/A
