Its an all stainless steel cat back system including I-pipe, over-axel pipe, muffler, outlet pipes and tips. The technology is in the muffler itself. They have included tuned channels that take certain exhaust notes and reflectes them back into the exhaust stream 180 degrees "out of phase". Thus the sound waves cancel each other out, leaving you with no drone/resonance and the freedom to talk to passengers without screaming in each others ears...or listen to the radio. Think Bose headphones but in a muffler and not electronic.

If you ever have the chance to look inside a Corsa muffler do so. It is a straight through pipe with no baffles or chambers just three tiny slits in the diameter of the piper as it enters the muffler for the sound cancellation. I wish that I would have taken pictures of mine before the install.

Corsa's looks and sound are in a category all their own. I have yet to hear or see anything that looks as good or sounds as unique as a Corsa catback. I haven't heard a dynomax catback before so I really don't know how good it is but I will say this, their bullet mufflers are really awesome for TD's.
I have to agree.... I have a Corsa catback on my Chevy Avalanche, and it sounds incredible. Nice throaty idle, and sound under acceleration, but whisper quiet at cruising speed. I am very happy with it.

    yes it is, bigger pipes.
Just picked up my 2002 WS6 Saturday, and I can sure say it doesn't sound like a Firebird, or even a stock TA. It reminds me very much of the Corsa catback on my Chevy Avalanche. Nice throaty idle, and fairly loud under moderate to full throttle acceleration, but very tolerable at cruising speed. No doubt a Corsa, Borla, or other performance exhaust would get you a few more top end horsepower, but probably not much without adding headers too.
I have had headers on a LOT of cars in my day, and I never owned a set you didn't have to worry about header leaks, and gasket replacements... An no they were not cheap ones. The last set was a $600 set of Hookers.

so you can do an X pipe with corsa's? never heard of an I pipe.. but do they sound good when you accelerate? i don't want one that's super quiet.. but not obnoxiously loud either.

My buddy has a stripped out WS6 with a cam and 370 LS6. He runs LT's, not cats, and the corsas and with his there was a weird resonation to it at WOT high RPM blasts. It might have been his setup but its from what I heard personally. Stock they sound badass and I love the look. But I guess I'm used to hearing corsas on really modded cars. My other buddy Gavin has it on a viper GTS with a supercharger, nitrous, and a built v10 and it was loud as hell but it sounded very, weird. But like I said it is probably the heavy mods to the car. At idle, it sounded nuts. When he took off it was loud as hell but once he got in the upper RPM's, it sounded, if I could try my best to explain it, hollow in a sense. That's my opinion and from what I've personally heard. With my Borla's, it does the same thing at higher RPM's as well.

go to LS1sounds.com. I've heard lots of exhausts but the coolest on is on my buddest supercharged Z28. He's got hookers, no cats, the stock catback, and a cutout. Closed, it sounds stock, you can't hear the blower cam, and it's quiet and being in California, noise police is everywhere. When the dump opens, it's a different story. It sounds mean as hell.

From what I've read in the past it is just a mirror of GM. They only make parts for GM cars and they got creative with it.

Ive got the Magnaflow Exhaust and love it. I did however modified the tips and installed aftermarket dual stainless tips to it. I dont like that obnoixous sounding exhaust, its just too loud!! Magnaflow IS the perfect muffler for me.

I see a lot of Borlas, and they sound great and look even better. If I were doing a catback I would go with the Borla. If I were going all out I would go with Bassani headers and true dual setup.
