anyone know if they put a specific color ws6 emblem on the sunset orange trans ams,my red 99 had a red one,my black 02 has a carbon fiber,just not sure what my 01 had as its mia.

I'm pretty sure they only come with the reflective red insert. Your carbon fiber one is probably an aftermarket placed on by the previous owner.

Yes the std was red. The only specific badge was on the 30TH ta - a blue one.

they only had the red one as far as i know the carbon one is not stock im sure of that i would look at getting a after market one from tsls or emblempros

carbon fiber was originally used on 02 Collector Edition, your black car probably originally had a red one, as well as your orange car.

The '02 CETA was NOT a 35th Anny. Trans Am came out in '69, hence the 30th Anny coming out in '99.

'02 Camaro had the 35th Anny because they came out in '67 along with the FIREBIRD.

The '02 CETA was NOT a 35th Anny. Trans Am came out in '69, hence the 30th Anny coming out in '99.

'02 Camaro had the 35th Anny because they came out in '67 along with the FIREBIRD.

The final model year of the Firebird, 2002, offered a distinctive "Collectors Edition" Trans Am, painted yellow. Like the Chevrolet Camaro, the Fourth Generation Firebird and Trans Am were built in Sainte-Thérèse, Quebec, and the plant closed down after producing the last F-body cars. This marked the 35th anniversary of the F-Body cars since their initial release.

Well, even though the Trans Am package didn't appear on the Firebird till '69... The '02 CETA is still the 35th Anniversary FIREBIRD, complete with the Trans Am package.

My insurance card says: Firebird/Formula/V8.....

well... lucky you all. I had someone steal mine at work one day. don't know why because the 3M sticky tape probably doesn't stick too well after it has been stuck to the car since 2002 til 2009. Mine is just a regular WS.6 with the red insert. Anything CETA will run you more. Found that out when I tried to get CETA rims while i was trying to go with a red/blk theme.

At a dealership (if they can find one) it will run you 189+tax. If they give you they GM employee discount its another 30% off. If you get real lucky and know the guy retail is 120. The prices have gone up according to my part guy. As a matter in fact the distributor that they get their stuff for was in Cinci and they only had 3 left.

Man you are right about those wheels, I had a line on a set of good used ones for $1200 recently but couldn't get the money together fast enough, real shame since new GM list is almost $3000.

lol yeah and I think new that's almost a grand over the price of 02 speedlines.
1200 would've been a steal if they were in good shape.

As far as these emblems go finding a reputable aftermarket could be the cheapest way. just make sure that the emblem appears to be in good quality, so it will stand up to the elements and make sure the badge has curvature so you can place it 6/7 hexs from left of the LR tailight.
