I drive mine everyday year round. If your going to drive it in the winter get another set of wheels with good winter tires and they are good in the snow/ice. I can leave a fwd car with all seasons on it sit at a light in the snow. There is much better control in the slippery crap with rwd if you are a good driver. I put over 20k on mine in the last 2 years. The only problem I've had was the drivers window motor went out just after I bought it. The rotors are warped a bit, but all f-bodys with stock rotors are warped. Six-speed is the most fun also.

I don't even remember. I got them about 2 years ago. I just remember spending about 3k or so for wheels and tires.

I wouldn't care if I get 5 MPG, I'm choosing quality and fun over quantity...

My daily is a 99 F-150 and the TA gets the sunny, dry days...
I think the 150 gets about 17MPG and the TA gets around 25 if I keep the foot out of it (which is NEVER!)

If you are going to the track then yes premium all the way.
I only use premium also, I can feel the difference. Plus if I hammer on it with anything but premium in it the SES light comes on, but as soon as I run that tank out and put in premium it goes back out. No biggie, my last car was turbocharged so I'm used to always buying 93 octane.

My t/a is a daily driver and have no problems whatsoever. I put all season tires on it (BFG traction ta's) and you just can't be an idiot in the winter keeping in mind you're driving a rwd car with over 300 hp. But I was quite pleased with it's snow handling. Plus donuts in the snow KICK ASS

Swap out the shocks for some Bilsteins, and get a short stick so you can shift with a flick of the wrist. Those are 2 major improvements for everyday driving

i have a 02 ws6 a4 its my daily driver, never had any problems with it. i just get the oil changed every 3000 miles and i always put premium in it. i wouldnt recommend having it as a daily driver in the snow though- when i lived in michigan i stored it every winter, besides it being bad to drive in snow and ice, i didnt want the salt on it

    Thumbs up

Running mid grade gas no noticeable difference in performance for the street.
