I agree. Unless your car is a true ws6, there is no reason to put the ws6 badging on.

My car is a WS6.
I have seen the Z06 style badges for our cars on other sites and I have also seen people remove the side molding and the T/A emblems on this site.
I just wanted to know if anyone has removed these things and went with just the Z06 style badge?

Are you talking about the badging on the doors?

That badge is just too..."Chevrolet" for my taste. I think the Z28 badge like that looks good on a Camaro, but it just looks out of place on a Pontiac IMO. I do like where you have them at though...that looks way better than I would have thought it would.

I debated on it for a couple of months before I put it on.It's only on the passenger side.I too like a clean sleek car (as you can tell from the stainless inserts and the stainless trans am emblems). And it really adds just a touch of spark on the pewter.I've tooken it to car shows and everyone has commented positive on it.
Nice car by the way. It's hard to find cars in as good as condition as ours.

I am a big fan of the fill ins on the rear bumper and the front bumper. It depends on the car which is best...I have the stainless pieces on my SOM car and color matched ones on my wifes silver TA and my white Firehawk.
I use to have a pewter WS6 vert and I had black overlays on it to match the top and it REALLY looked nice.

I like the rear letter fill ins, and I go back and forth on the front plate overlay. Sometimes I like the extra flash, other times I think it looks a little busy.
IMO I like a car with NO badges. People go too crazy with the badges and overlays, and it makes the car look cluttered. I see some cars with sail panel birds, door emblem overlays, and those last of breed badges on the fenders. No offense, but I can't stand that look, it's way to cluttered.
On my car, I'd love to lose the emblems and door trim, but I have a sneaking suspicion it's been repainted, so I'm afraid of what I'll find under the emblems. If I had a T/A though, I'd lose the badges in a heartbeat. No kidding it's a T/A, you can't really mistake it for anything else, can you? Same thing with the rear center panel stickers, and the WS6 emblem. GONE. Makes for a much cleaner rear.
Just my .02 though.

Yea I would not add any more badges to the car.
I just want to take one off and put another smaller more suttle one in its place.
That damn Transam badge collects dirt thats hard to get out.

sstg,
I was not directing my comments because I though it looked bad.
But as you said to each his own and I have always liked solid colored cars with no pinstripe and or anthing that may catch wax residue.(just me)

Sorry guys if I came off the wrong way. I wasn't getting defensive. I was just stating that I.... didn't think it was cluttered.
