My 2000 spins on the run from a take off, and it chirps the tires in second.

    I have a 2000 WS6 with a lid and a SLP LM1, I can smoke the tires from a dig anytime I want.

with gears and a shift kit you should be able to roast 2nd on street tires. i can put on a smoke show goin from 1-2 if i shift too fast/hard (i say get m6!), and thats stock. i have never lost to a stock auto f-body

i'm no longer stock btw, small cam, intake, exhaust, pro 5.0 shifter. if you ever get the chance, drive one! your eyes will go wide and you'll be mumbling something about how you now see the light lol

Stick shift FTMFW! However, a stalled AT is not "no fun".

We all know the M6 rules so lets not turn this into another auto vs manual piss match.

^^^They don't really limit the car, gas mpg is not much different on the highway. They do cost around $750? installed, tho.

Never intended to do that. Others may try, but not me.

A mild stall is no problem for a dd. You don't need a 4000rpm to have a benefit.

Well, I tried this once. Shifter in OD, no foot on brake and the car spun the whole length of the street. I actually let off the gas before it stopped spinning as I ran out of street. So I guess I would have to say "YES"

I spun my 275's with a 2.73 and bone stock car from a 5 roll.

I had an 1st gen eclipse behind me, and he was riding my ass, so when the green light dropped, I left him.....lol

I crawled away from the line for about 10 feet, and laid into it. spun, hooked, and I was off.
