    WS6 A4 burnout?

I was wandering if you guys with an a4 can smoke the tires from a dead stop without power braking. This would be on stock tires 275/40/17's.

Probably not all that often on the stock stall.

I never really tried to smoke them, but with 275's and 2.73's, I have no problem at all getting them to spin real good. Just did it today actually, from a 5mph roll.

I have a 3000stall and it smokes them easily with just mashing the pedal.

Mine depends on how hot the tires are. If its a hot day it wont. It chirps and goes. It its under 80 it will sit and spin.

I know with a good stall it will smoke them.My car is bone stock except for exhaust.I have thought about putting a stall in but I really do not make it a habit of spinning the tires. My car does seem very fast for a stock 300 or so HP just never owned an auto car with this HP range.

I can't get my 99 A4 TA to smoke em! It just launches. I have the Goodyear
F1's (Don't know off hand the actual sizes), stock gears, headers, and Borla Catback.

I haven't tried holding the brakes mainly because I have never done it before. Any tips on how it's done? I just want to show off at cruises now & then.

go to a back road or parking lot that is empty... you want lots of room...

put your left foor on the breakand right foot on the gas...

press the brake down and give her gas (all while in D) and adjust the break/gas to the point that you want fro your burn out...

Since I put the 3.42 rear in it lights them off through third on the right road.

At stock power levels NO, even worse with a Vert, heavier.

A few power mods and Smoke them at will.

I have 3.23 stock and was about to go to 3.73 but gas is still going up.
The car is not a DD and the pinion seal is leaking just a little.
My thought if I have to pull everything to put in crush sleeve and seal mite as well change the gears.
