Well kinda at a loss of where to start honestly i have a stock ls1 and want to know not the best obviously bc everyone has their own beliefs and paths on mods but where to start.. air induction? Trans? Suspension? Valve train? These are different cars then the 3800 bc there its more of trans work and pulley drops for boost and cams and rockers ... this is my first n/a car

Typical mods starting off are the intake (where the air filter housing is located, not the manifold itself), something like the SLP Whisper lid, Blackwing lid or Volant. Next usually comes the exhaust. There are quite a few options out there and opinions vary on what's best, but it's really up to you. Long-tube headers compliment a cat-back exhaust quite nicely and can really wake your motor up. Do a search on the free mods that are available. I personally like a good all-around car, so some suspension work is a must. Larger sway bars, strut tower braces, lower control arms and sub-frame connectors are excellent for improving the way the car handles. Depending upon which tranny you have, a short-throw shifter for a manual tranny or torque converter for an auto tranny are good additions, too. After all the basics, you might look into a head and cam package, depending upon what your plans on for the car. The sky is pretty much the limit (that, and how deep your pockets are).

First mods on our car were an air lid, subframe connectors and a catback. After that, I began upgrading the rear suspension components and swapped out to a 12 bolt. No sense spending money on power adders if you can't put them to the ground.
