Wreaked the Trans Am
on Friday, I was on my way to work on a two lane road. Well coming out of a curve I notice a guy from work in front of me(04 ram 4X4,lifted). So I decide to take him out, put it in 4th move over and he guns it. So I could of went to 3rd and hit it, but I saw cars coming so I was going to have to get on it pretty hard, decided against it. Put it back in 6th then he slows back down to speed limit(60ish). So because I knew there were a few cars coming I wasn’t going to even try to pass him. So im behind him but kind of on the right side of my lane just cursing.
Out of nowhere he taps his breaks and turns hard to the left (almost hit a car on the oncoming lane) and swerves around an 07 Chevy pick up that was at a dead stop in my lane. So I try to follow almost cleared it but I got his corner with my pass fender, goes right throw my door and to the back quart panel. But once it hit the back panel it swung my rear end to the grass, now im counter steering left with my rear still coming around. I see myself closing in on a creek(polly 30yrds away) I pull the ebrake for a bit till the rear comes around and now im facing the opposite direction back on the street at a stop.
Before I came to a stop I almost sled into the idiot that was in front of the truck I hit. Apparently she missed her exit(driveway) and thought to quickly back up till the guy in the Chevy pickup almost hit her. She drove off as soon as I got to a dead stop.
I thought i had been doing good, first ticket in it on tuesday of last week (73 in a 60) I wasnt haulen a** but i was speeding.
sorry for the long read...pics coming up as soon as my camara charges.

yeah got one yesterday. vandagriff did it bc the insurance wanted them to do it and from what he saw it was about 2800 bucks thats with a used door. but said it would go up from there once they tore into it.
I dont even know if i still want this car anymore, i was kinda hoping they were going to total it out.

Well, now we know what a cutaway view of a T/A looks like. All the best and hope you can get it repaired easily.

Sucks to hear man! Damage doesnt look bad at all though. No way they would of totaled it. Its just front quarter, mirror, door panel and rear quarter. Look for parts at junk yards and ebay. Add some paint and your up and running again!

Thanks guys,
And i went to another place on the way home(on Copper). The guy told me that he(vandagriff) left alot of things out;like the t-top pillar it has scraches too. But that he would just get the rest of the money from my insurance and i wouldnt have to pay the 500 deductable...but seems like a small place, dont know how good they really are i rather have it done right then cheap out on it.
He did mention that he did the whole driver's side of a firehawk and it came out good...

Help guys...
Ok about insurance. We got another insurance about 3 months ago. And bc i still have a lein on it, it had 'full coverage'. Well my dad is about the only one who drives it so his name was on the policy. But just in case i was down for the weekend and drove the car i would be covered bc i have a valid drivers license. I thought thats what 'full coverage' means.
Well they tell us basicly no way. That if my dad is the only one the policy, anybody eles that drove the car would not be covered.WTF com'on. What if my mom or by older brother takes it to the store or some crap they would'nt be covered either.
Can they do that, i mean they did, but are they suppost to do that? I dont even live with my parents im going to school.
