    1998 trans am

    Question wow exhaust prices

    Hi everyone , it wasnt even 1 year ago i bought a magnaflow exhaust for my 98 purple trans am.Well the trans am is gone now and i just got a 2000 trans am convertible and i am ready to get an exhaust for it, but i have recently checked prices and i cant believe the prices. I s it me or are these prices crazy.

    i paid 3 hundred and something for a catback exhaust, now all i see is 410 and better

    also was curious if the y pipe from a ws6 is different from a regular trans am.

    mine was 400 something. y pipe was 200, qtp long tubes were 600.

    Try eBay they have some good prices on magnaflows summit and some other companies sell parts there a lot cheaper than on their websites.

    Ws6store of texas speed has some good prices. You can find a hooker cat back for around $379. Flows great and sounds mean, especially if your planning on adding long tube headers. The Loudmouth is pretty cheap as well and flows great. Sounds mean as hell on stock manifolds.

    So if you plan on modding the car id get the hooker, if your keeping it stock the LM will be a better choice imo.
