Winter blues...restriping my ws6
Well I'm sure I'll get some interesting feedback on this one! I decided I did not like my silver stripes anymore and decided to change the style and color! After a brutal couple of cold wet days removing the old ones, I finally got around to ordering new ones...MATTE BLACK. I have a black ws6...so I was thinking kind of a gost effect. Havn't seen this before, so I thought it would be differen't. I got the hood done last night, I'm not sure what to think yet. It is hard to see in the pic, but what do you guys think...keep going or spend $250 again for something else? I also went with LS1 badges instead of the Ram Air decals.

Looks good man, a lot of the new Camaro's have matte black on the hood. I've seen this on a lot of the other makes as well. IMO this really makes your car look up to date with the rest of the bunch and any one who doesnt know better will think it's a new model. Of course you've got the best looking of them all.

How difficult are they to install? Looks like you did a great job. I can see them, just thought it would be a little more noticeable is all. I like the look.
Boost gets you laid, unless your name is Jon.

Well it's not easy by any stretch...but taking your time is the key! It was cold as hell, so it made it harder to get them to stick correctly. You can do it dry or wet, advantages to both, wet is easier to place, but more work. The hardest part was getting them to match each other, the paper on top was cut crooked on mine, so I had to look past that to get them straight. In this case I couldn't see them well because they are black on black!!!

Wow...real nice Jon!!! Thats cool as hell. Paint is much better. As I look at mine more and more I like how it looks in the sun the best...because you can really see them!!!

I like it. my buddy has matte stripes and those things are much more noticeable in person. it's like black wheels on a car. it's hard to capture the effect in a picture sometimes.
