Window Motor Toast Again!
Lasted 2 years on my driver side motor. I rolled it down eariler and went to store try'd to role it up and didn't move. came back hit motor and it went up.
funny thing is it didn't even act like it was going out till just now. thought my switch was toast. I tested the switch worked fine. I only put 6k miles on the car in past 2 & Half years.Last edited by 96Firebirdformula; 06-23-2008 at 05:28 PM.

pos motors . . . where did you get this one from? i'd say try the autotrix kit with along with your new motor . . . maybe thatll prevent it.

Both motors are the same PN - thought the autotrix kit was for the passenger side?

Yes both motors are the same as said above.
We make kits for both the Passenger and Driver side.

The passenger side kit is the most crucial fix. The driver side express down module does create a voltage drop for the driver side window and it is a good kit to install so that both window motors have there own circuit seperate from factory wiring.
Driver side kit is more expensive then the passenger window fix kit due to it including the AutoTrix express down module.
