    window alignment

I've got a 2001 ws6, 51000 miles the drivers side window appears to come up too far in the rear and doesn't sit on the window seal like it should, and on the passenger side the window tips in when all the way up, pushing in on the seal, has anybody had the door panels off, i'm sure there are stops for the windows. I plan on removing the panels to fix the cracking problem anyway.

I had that problem in my WS6. I took the panel off and there are all kinds of ways to adjust it. I fixed most of it but never got it perfect.

    window adjustments

yeah, there are a bunch of things in the door panel. I just replaced the regulator/motor on my driver side and did some adjustments while in there.

    Try these two things:
    1) there is a rail/track going up and down about 6 inches from the back of the door. there is a screw at the top which holds a stop to keep the window from going up too much.
    2) while youhave the door panel off, on top of the door are 2 bracket looking things held on with hex bolts (10mm i think). loosen one at a time and push the window towards the outer seal then tighten it back down. you dont want to have both of those brackets loose at once
