the first time i got hooked on T/A's was when i was like 12 and i saw one pulled over for speeding, made me want one so i got online and searched for a car that look like it to see what it was (now i know it was a t/a lol) i just had to have one. a P.O.S 93 Ford Ranger and an 87 Camaro (that i regret selling) later i have my 98 that i hope i never have to get rid of!

Then 77 is my favorite year. I was about 8 or 9 yrs old when Smokey and the Bandit came out. That leaves quite an impression on you.

Et's are not all about WHP. I went 13.3 very consistently with my 2000 Trans Am M6 (non-WS6) Paper filter and stock tires. I am a decent driver, Not the best, but pretty good.

I have moved up to the LS1 cars now, and the love and obsession has only gotten stronger. What I don`t get is why I love them so much. I mean these cars are hard to work on. There is so much stuff packed into a small package. When you want to work on or change something it never seems to be easily accessible. You have to move and take off alot of stuff. I hate to say things like that but it`s true. But that has not changed the love I have for them. There looks are killer, they are mean as hell, and there is so much out there to do to them. I just want to know what it is about them that you love.
i cant lie my first love with Trans Ams began with the Smokey & the Bandit T/As also,i love that movie, ever since then as a kidd i collected Trans Am model cars,& still do today, but im a 4th Generation Trans Am guy those are my favorite being an owner of 3 4th gens i loved all 3 i look at current sports cars nowadays & the Trans Am's styling still outshines them 100% in years to come i believe the Trans Am will still be a top contender amoung auto performance enthusiasts

Normally I'd say Mustangs suck. But I see yours is a '65. Yeah, '65s ARE cool. I remember having a toy '64-1/2 or '65 Mustang when I was a kid, white 'vert w/ red interior. Never forget that car. My favorite year though, is the '69-'70s. A 428SCJ Mach 1 would definately find a home in my garage. The only new ones that tickle my fancy are the new '11-1/2 (?) Boss 302s. Its tough to argue that those are not cool.
