Why do my headlights pop up when i disengage parking brake??

I have a 1998 T/A. My headlights pop up on their own and turn on when i disengage the parking brake. If i leave the parking brake engaged on one notch to engage the brake light, the headlights will be stay down. However, this doesn't always hold true. I've tried to figure out what possible reasoning could be. From bumpy roads, outside temperature, dry, wet, etc. Nothing has shown a consistent pattern to determine the exact cause. Normally i can disengage the parking brake all the way with no issues. Randomly the headlights will pop up and turn on while driving and stay on as well. After a random amount of minutes, they will go back down and turn off on their own. This has been going on for a while. Please help!

This is prob your problem. If this isn't it, then it could be your Body COntrol Module. Check this linked thread out, and click on the link that Jay posted in this thread. http://www.ls1.com/forums/f6/headlights-156361/
