Shady, if you didn't pull the paint with it, just get some of that bumper sticker remover in a can and spray it down and then go over it with a soapy wash mitt. Happened to mine but, this worked for me.

Ah, okay. It was repainted at some point with the trim on. Only thing you can do at that point is to remove the trim and then repaint the door, aft area and front fenders. Could be expensive but, maybe sometime in the future if you have to repaint, it would be a good time to remove it.

I wanna take mine off so bad but my car was repainted at some point and I dunno if it would be messed up underneath. There is a bubble in clear coat at the tip of the driverside front one too

Had the same problem as shady. Paint was thicker and gay looking under it. Burned up what was left of the old buffer getting it somewhat even. Ive got a shit ton of door dings and all of them are about 15 inches from the molding. Take it off !!!

we took my buddies off his 99 t/a, the driver side came off with out a hitch as you can see

then we got to the pass. side and realized that at some point in time unknown to us that the door and rear 1/4 had been repainted and instead of putting clear on the door then put the trim on the just cleared over the trim, resulting in this

needless to say my friend was not happy as the the car was suposed to be clean so he ended up getting the dealership he got the car from to pay to get it fixed

no problem, it was sooo easy, just make sure you get somthing good to take the adhesive off with, don't remember the name of the stuff we use but it worked like a charm

no problem, its not hard just kinda a pain taking the glue off. i rolled it off by hand then took the rest off with WD40 then polished it.

Yeah, that bumber sticker remover in a can is what I used. Works great on old vinyl stickers that you want to remove easily too.

if the paint is alot thicker if you're very careful you can use 1000 grit sandpaper and wet sand it (color sanding), and then buff it with a rotary buff, but it's kinda hard you really want someone to do it that knows what their doing, thats what i had to do to mine.
