    Whinning

    Ok I dont know why, but whenever i make a left turn at over 20 mph or so, or if i make a sharp left turn, a loud whinning sound comes from what sounds like under the front of the car, i have no clue what it is, any1 have an idea?

    Possibly power steering pump? Cant remember off the top of my head what side it is on.

    im not sure, i mean the car needs an alignment BAD its all over the place but i dont know....any1 else?

    power steering pump is on driver's side. to me, it sounds like the right front hub bearing assmebly is going bad. when you make a left turn, it puts a lot of weight on the right front tire.

    99% sure its the power steering... for some reason it seems like all GM vehicles do it. try this, just sitting in your driveway (car on of course) or going slowly in teh driveway cut the wheel hard to either side to teh point where you can feel the wheel bounce off as far as u can turn it..... i bet you will hear that noise.

    idk what it is but some GM steering racks last forever and others are just crappy no matter how old. get it checked and make sure theres no seep or leak in it. if memory severs me right only way to fix it is a new steering rack which runs like 250 + labor

    i just turned my wheel both sides and when its compltely cut it makes a sound, its sounds like a buzzer ringing, but not that loud whinning noise im talking about. i also hear a like pop if i cut the wheel all the way to the right.....i dont know what is wrong with this thing

    the whining is almost def power steering pump, check the fluid first. as for the pop, thats a whole other ball game... look to your ball joints, and tie rod ends.
