I still do that, but what can do...? Ya live ya learn you get newer cars, yeah ya know nothing ever last so have fun while you got the chance just be kinda smart about it.....but personally I would do stuff like some stripes, or a bird on the back window, save the motor work for later

Stupid kids that abuse their cars car's power and destroy them are the same kids that are getting their money from mommy and daddy. Hes working hard for his car and mods. I was shopping headers, exhuast, lid, cam...... within the first week of owning my car. I drove fast everywhere buy I was smart and careful about it becuase I knew how hard I had to work for everything.

Im not gonna trash talk ya cause were pretty much neighbors, but seriously, nothing irks me more than young kids with this much power, at least you got the WS6 and not some P.O.S. mustang like most kids, If you want some good advise, put a few dollars into some suspension stuff, its not more power, but it can make it quicker, and more controllable. Im a master tech for BMW and we get people all the time asking "how can I make my car faster?" The first thing that comes to my mind is "take some driving school classes" not driver ed. or anything like that, but racing schools, you'd be surprised how much more there is to it than just putting your foot down.

My kid won't even challenge me anymore. He knows that the little guy with the "Napoleon Sindrome" is in charge. He doesn't live here anymore.

Sure do. If I had a son 16 and he did what I did @16, I would beat him till the smoke alarm went off. My parents were divorced at the time and I got to run wild pretty much.

Ill just offer up my two cents... When I turned 18 I had a 99 LS1 Trans Am... black like yours... working a good job, had it payed off in a few months (only payed 9 for it) then started with the bolt ons. It was my first really fast car. By the time I was 19 it was full bolt on and making somewhere in the 400 range... I did stupid shit constantly as some of the guys that use to follow the kill section here know. I had a close call and guess what i did... i sold that thing, went out and bought me a nice slow LT1... yea i miss that power but at this point in my life I just had too much to loose. These cars are plenty fast enough stock trust me. At 16 id stay away from the mods... yea i agree with what you already have done... make it sound good, hell maybe add a lid... but stop at that. These cars become a diffrent animal all together when you start to fuck with cam and heads and all that good stuff. I know it sounds great but unless you have something else to drive daily and you can take it the track on the weekends to play... its not worth it. Now that im 21 im a little more responsible im going to start modding the LT1... Do i still occasionally do something stupid... yea but nothing like i use too. A highway pull here and there, fucking with a ricer here and there. But speeding down the highway at 120 fucking with everything i see? no not anymore. At any rate, congrats on the car, be safe, and regardless of what anyone says, have fun with it, your gonna do what your gonna do. No one wants to see you get hurt though so for god sakes be careful

Buddy, im 17 and had to buy my TA, no one handed it to me, I say keep stock till you can afford to wreck it, it kills me when I see someone unresponsible(not necesesarly u) getting a car they may not deserve. Now im not saying you dont deserve it but boy you gota (for all of us f-body drivers who had to work thier ass off to buy thier girls) take care of that and dont be an ass with it, ive seen some bad wrecks from kids jagging off. That car has over 320hp, most cars even new dont have that kinda power. Put exhaust on and you wont need to show off. I've been in a ditch before with my old firebird I almost shit myself lol but really watch it.
