They sell kits to do that... I don't know where to get them or how much they are.. but I think there is even a guy on this forum who has one. His TCS is automatically off and he has to turn it on.

pretty sure traction control isn't a simple resistor mod like the skip shift

nope, but all you would need to do is have a pulse from the ignition wire trigger the TCS switch... not much to it... you may not even need a relay... but I WOULD use a diode

I agree with scrapmaker, tcs is nice to have when it's raining or terrible out. Helps excercise some restraint, when you can't. Keep in mind, that even with it, it will not save you every time. I snapped an axle shaft gettin' sideways once, and tcs was on...

TCS lets you lose traction for a bit... it can't predict...

2000 Camaro SS. I hate traction control. How do I uninstall it. I am sick of turning it off every time I start the car and the damn light!!!

As soon as I start my car I turn off the traction control, the loss of power/acceleration is crazy!!! I'm pretty sure all WS6 models have it.

I hate the tcs. The only thing I like about it is how I put the line lock switch there.

I like the TCS... for all the times I've been in the rain, it's come in handy...

there have been a few times, in my automatic, where I'll be going along in 3rd/4th at like 40-50mph and I give it just a bit too much gas and it will downshift... at that point, the TCS kicks in and the car just wobbles a bit... but with TCS off, the car can and will go completely sideways... I've done it a few times... on purpose... but it's pretty scary that it can happen on accident...

what I would want, is not a complete REVERSE-operation of the TCS switch... but rather a physical toggle switch, on/off... then you can leave it off while you're at the track, and leave it on otherwise... a nice little switch like the fog lights would be great.

Um...there is a switch to turn it on and off if the car has tcs

I mean, a switch that STAYS engaged, one way, or the other... like a flip switch... then you can just leave it which way you want, regardless of restarting the ignition
