Where to find Decals for WS6

This is a discussion on Where to find Decals for WS6 within the Firebird / WS6 forums, part of the Vehicle Specific category; I really haven't had to take any of them or any pieces of them off that weren't already half way ...

I really haven't had to take any of them or any pieces of them off that weren't already half way off themselves, and then I just peeled. The trick would be to soften up the adhesive with something that wouldn't harm the paint obviously. I haven't really read too much on what to use... guess if I was going to try something, I'd try soap and water first (which probably wouldn't do much). Whatever you're using to scrape it off would have to be something not sharp so as to not scratch the paint accidentally, maybe something like a plastic spatula kind of applicator thing, if that makes any sense. Dunno, hopefully someone else has some better ideas.

Ah gotcha, i'll prolly end up using my credit card or something. I'm just afraid that the car will look like crap and i wont have a clue on how to remove them... then i'll just be embarassed. On the upside... my car would stand out of the croud for a while. Here in Jax we dont have many birds that differ from the norm, but we have a lot of firebirds... not trans ams or WS6s. Guess i just want mine to be a bit more "noticable".

You can very carefully use a heat gun or hair drier to soften it, just be very carefull.

No... They will just be harder to get off ( they'll come off in pieces )......Just use a hair dryer they will peel right off.

I'd like to put something back there, but I don't know if it's worth trying to get an original piece from GM with the emblem/sticker/whatever you call it or if I should just look for a decal and be happy with that. And in that case - sandman - do you make those too? And do you make other ones like the one on the front plate as well?
I have the one for the front plate ready. If you would like I will PM you a price. As far as the one for the rear let me get the measurments off of mine and I will get back to you on that.

Please do, I'd appreciate it. I don't suppose you'd have the ones for the "Trans Am" on the lower part of the doors, also?

Yeah. You will be removing your original lettering, right. So all you will have is the vinyl?

Yeah, actually I removed the original emblems a long time ago, so the only thing on it now is the vinyl decals.
