    What's stock height?

I've been looking at my car and wondering if it was lowered by the previous owner. Never really thought about it before recently. It just seems like there's less wheel gap than the '99 I had before. I took a quick measure just now and at the corner where the wheel well meets the side skirt, It's 6" front and back. And roughly 2.25" between tire top and wheel well.

    Here's a pic as a reference:

Oh I agree... They came with the car. Man do I wish I had the stockers... I have a bit of maintenance stuff to do first but then I want some 18 or 19" vette wheels eventually. The tires I have to run are way too thin anyways. The widest I can fit will be 255's. All I have is an intake, exhaust and a tune and it will constantly spin the wheels going into 2nd at even the slightest excess of throttle (rather unsafe to be honest).

best compromise between looks, handling and weight. And the tires are much cheaper that 18" too

I understand 17's are a good balance between size/weight. but I prefer the look of 18's. Weight isn't much of a concern to me since my "racing" consists of mashing the gas to get on the freeway.

I would kill for wheels that look even close to these.

Has anyone taken a sec to see what their stock suspension measures at?

I agree with you on the above. The main thing to keep in mind when deciding between 17s and 18s, 18" tires are considerably more expensive and limited in selections compared to 17" tires.

Very true. I'm okay with that though. I'm more of a show than go at this point. and while I don't want to go too big, seeing pictures like this one of KyleLS1's NBM T/A is what tempts me to go 19's. It just seems to fill out the wheel well.
