heres what i got an hopefully friday when i get paid hes still got the lts and ory for 220 ill go pick it up
Fuddle 3400 but I should have gone higher (3600 to 4000) seeing as how the PCM makes it a normal stall (lockup) at speed.

Driving the car normasly the stall locks up at ~40-45 mph.

Knowing this now, I would've went with a 4K rpm (higher?) stall (especially since this isn't my daily driver).

Still, it's a decent racer/driver. I really need to go with a cam to break into the 11's... That's the next mod....

    And...

Ditch the Nitto's. The are worthless with a stall... Trust me I've been there....

Check my sig... The only worthwhile tires I've found that can hang with a high stall torque converter are "Mickey Thompson ET Street Radials". I prefer the radials as I don't care for the "jitterbug" (dancing around feel you get at "High Speed" - if you've done it you know waht I mean) feeling you get with regular (bias ply) soft compound tires.

    If not, then test away...
    67 Camaro: K-K + 797-z (look it up), 454/Th400/4.10 12-bolt = 6mpg, PS/PDB/PW tilt, tach, gauges...

2005 Corvette LS2/M6 Magnetic Red Metallic (What else would it be?) w/ Cashmere interior

    2002 Z28: NBM/Tan, MTI smooth lid, smooth bellows, !AIR, !cats, 1-3/4" QTP SS LT's, 2-1/2" TD's with X-pipe, MagnaFlows dumped at axle, custom welded SFC's, MidWest Chassis body mount adjustable T/A, 3400 stall, 3.23 gears (was 2.73). Tuned: 343rwhp/357rwt (before TD's). Best: 12.559 @ 108+, 1.73 60' @ 3500' DA w/MT ET Street DR's.

I remember attending a pool party when man landed on the moon.

Good times were had by all...

As far as the tranny is concerned (AFAIC - you getting this?):

While my car (the 02) had only 42,xxx on it, when the tranny was taken out (to do the stall) my mechanic told me (and showed me) that the clutches and the Sun shell were showing wear (Sun shell was slightly burnt).

I went with Raybestos racing clutches and a Stainless Steel ("The Beast" by trade name) Sun shell.

This, along with a shift kit (and programming out "Torque Management) allowed me to cut a 1.7x 60' along with a 12.5X time.

These cars were made to race!

Ha no, I haven't been called kid in a while! My great grandmother lived from 1899 to 1999. I always figured she saw some of the most world changing history in her lifetime...

Anyway, yeah I've hit the age where I have to shake my head at these crazy kids nowadays!

ok, just to keep this technically on topic, let me add that WS6 or not, I think you still got a sweet ride there for a decent price.

I Had a great g'ma (mothers father's mom) that was born in 1878 and lasted into 1979 (101 is the longest any of my relatives lasted - Iowa farmer types seem to last a long time).

I figure I've got "3 score and 12 (20 x 3 + 12 = 72) years to last" at a minimum thanx to modern science... In spite of some "problematic" diseases I've picked up along the way...

At my age I'm more worried about outlasting the $$$ I've accumulated once I decide to retire...

    I ain't "Sarge" ya know...

I'll get rid of em after the new mods are done don't habe the $ to change em for the hell of it lol but as for the tranny I'm sure I'll have to do it too my car is sitn at 223k on the odometer and as far as I know never rebuilt... Runs like it has been but the guy that had it before me didn't take care of the repairs so I know he didn't rebuild anything. It had 217 on it when I bought it pulled 5 codes from the computer and repaired them and started the few mods I have. Only repair not made yet is the ac it's kinda got me stumped got some help from someone on here but haven't had a chance to check it out yet
