I don't see how a stalled auto would be any more fun, so what if it's fast, there's the same lack of driver involvement.
some of us dont need more involvement.
also for those M6 guys who say its so fun, try getting your dick sucked while having a smoke and shifting gear, opps wont happen.

    well, i currently have both.
for just driving around town cruising, i like my A4.
for racing, i like my A4.
when im feeling spunky ill take the M6. and after 20 minutes or so. i wish i had my A4.
    everyones different.
i was mad at first when i couldnt find a M6 TA but now im glad

but i would take that white one, since nothing has been touched on it and its white

I don't smoke as A) Its bad for health, B) Stinks up your car and your own body
and I don't think getting sucked involves the use of one of yours hands but it may hinder access to the shifter, but you probably wouldn't need to shift fast in that situation as you shouldn't be speeding.

Either way, doing either of that in the car is pretty retarded.

sticks are fun for a while but changing gears gets old after a while, especially in heavy traffic

I used to be a stick guy all the way - with older muscle cars I wouldn't even consider an automatic, but LS1s just work with the modern automatic so well in unbelievable, I know with my A4 I could run with, if not better than the same equipped car with M6. I have experience with all the different variations, C5 Corvette 6 Speed and Auto, C6 Auto, TA M6, ect, but I truly love the auto in the F Body the the best. Just easy and lazy to drive in traffic, drives like a caddy, then just hammer it, no clutch of shifter to wrestle with and it just takes off like a guided missile. Back in the old days when automatics were slushy 3 speeds with vacuums, cables and other archaic devices, a 4 Speed Muncies was the way to go, but in this day and age with the way computer controlled automatics work, they lose no performance to a car with a manual transmission. My cars sole purpose in life is also to bracket race with consistancy, and for that, an automatic is a no brainer.

Drive both and decide. I personally like sticks better since thats what I have been mostly driving my whole life. I have never been in an automatic F body so cant comment on how they drive but GM does make the best auto trans and should be fun to drive. Be glad its not a Mustang auto trans, they really suck bad. The main advantage to a six speed is the gas mielage, its a little better with the double overdrive 6th gear.

M6 for me. Makes every drive a fun one. That was actually the most important thing I wanted when looking for a T/A, had to be an m6.

i would also consider how tall you are anyone over 6ft 2" and 250lbs might have trouble shifting. im 6ft3" 300lbs and i have some trouble with just the gas and brake with size 13 6e shoes. im sure some bigger guys have 6 speeds just my opinion.

the white with blue checkered racing stripes sounds like its a good lookin car. i drive stick through philly traffic all the time and its not so bad. if youre not that experienced either, youll learn. i learned to drive stick on my car.

If you can't get road head while driving a manual trans car you really suck at driving. Your left knee raises all of 2 inches and your woman is on the other side so what's the issue? I suppose if your into fatties and can't reach around them then I can see the problem, but it's not with having a manual car.
