Question What is this a picture of?

So I'm detailing the inside of my 2000 Formula Firebird and I find this small, black, rubber stopper-thingie on the floor mat of the back seat.
I want to put it back where it belongs. Any idea where it goes?

Also, my WS6 car was built October of 1999 and was, at one time, a Ghost Car. Did the owners of the cars built during this period finally get the build numbers for their vehicles or do Ghost Cars still exist?

I never really looked under the front seats, but the rear has been removed and all I found was around .27 cents in change.

Enough to buy a ashtray stopper !!! (not including shipping and handling, insurance, and tax title and license)

That looks like the rubber bump stop from the hatch. There is one on each side of the molding where the deck would flip back to reveal the area for T-tops.

It turned out to be a rubber stopper from the console (between the driver and passenger seat) !

    Mystery solved.

Rubber thingie is back where it belongs.

    Thanks for everyone's help.
