What part of T/A is your least favorite to detail

OK so we all love to detail and keep our cars looking great to show off. But I'm sure we all have that one area that drives us absolutely nuts when cleaning/detailing it.

So select one and let us know why.

If you select other say what area and why.

I hate how it runs out from under the tail lights on the bumper. Big PITA with a black car and hard city water.

Spoiler for sure. Getting under there drives me up the wall...and I always find something I missed.

Plus my cat thinks that the curve makes the greatest bed in history so yeah...I always have paw prints on it.

I noticed that the cat's do not get on my car after I wax it. I assume that when they jump on it they just slide right off. Either that or they don't like the smell. Wish I could catch them on film.

I haven't had prints in a long time though. Maybe they're all gone.

Of course now that I said that, I'll start getting them again.

I voted other. The parts I don't like cleaning (waxing/detailing) the most are the vents on the side, the door handles, bird on license plate cover, door letters (when I had them, getting some from TSS). Pretty much any place that is difficult to wax. I don't mind the spoiler area. I just take the bonnet off my da and rub all up in that.

    My life is a
    Ben Stiller movie.

fuck it, the whole damn thing is a PITA to take care off. you black birdies know that for a fact-once you wash it, you have exactly 10 minutes to enjoy the luster before it turns crappy again.

Ok, that's not true, i once maintained a shine for 3 weeks with quick detailer but i didn't drive it to the city AT ALL and cincy is dusty as shit b/c of all the new construction

Be happy you don't have cutouts that turn down.
I just have to start it after washing it and the rear of the car is dusted.

The right products will allow for easy washing and keep-up though.

Is that really what makes our rear bumpers get soo damn dusty? I have a cutout that turns down but have never been able to figure out why it gets dusty so fast!

    That is some of it.

Running around on wide DR's all the time (or DOT slicks) doesn't help either.

nah, it's an Fbody thing i'm sure. The bumper is so low and the wide tires just spew tons of dust back there. Ever notice the way it tapers from the back of the tires around the rear bumper-its basically channeling the dust onto the bumper. Mines' always filthy

At least our bumpers don't have to be reinforced and heated like the Mustangs
