I like the hood, the extractors are awesome, but I don't like the fact that the ram air has 2 vents instead of 4 like stock. If someone made a hood in the stock style with the heat extractors that would be the hood for me.
+1 i want a stock style with the 2 heat extractors. i like it it jus needs to flow smoother at the front. doesnt remind me of rice at all reminds me of a viper

Agreed. I think I might pick it up if it was the WS6 hood.

Actually, from looking at it I believe it is a knock off mecham hood...Mecham makes one that looks real close almost identical but you can tell its more professionally made, for example the nostrils are more shaped to fit the car...the nostril openings on this car are generic looking...all in all a nice hood, but even in the ebay auctions it says a florida custom hood, trust me if u have a mecham hood, ur gnna state "its a mecham."

Mecham did make 2 versions of this hood the later was more agressive and had larger openings for the ram air inlets.

I have to say I like the one large opening. If I could get a firehawk or Mecham, something of good quality I'd jump on it. I got a aftermarket WS6 hood from Certi Fit, where I get the parts for the cars in my shop and I got it because it was nices than a stock TA hood but I still like the smooth look of the Firehawk hood. Never been a huge fan of the WS6. Better than stock but I love the Hawk and Raptor look. Just alot more than I payed for mine. I got it more for function. It was only $250 so I didn't mind cutting it up to work with my Volant CAI.

BTW I'm not knocking the WS6 hood just my preference.

Yeah, I do like it BUT I would like it so much more if it was basically the exact same as the WS6 hood but with the heat extractors...

I think that's what onetroubledguy was implying all along.
