What does this consist of..
I was just curious what the "upgraded suspension" on the WS6 actually is compared to a regular T/A. Is it possible to save the few thousand dollars difference and upgrade the suspension the same or better than the WS6 on your own?

lol i realize that ... ok here lemme rephrase the question...
what exactly did they do to upgrade the suspension on the WS6, compared to the T/A.
don't say they made it better, lol i realize that.. what i mean is what specific parts did they upgrade? The reason i'm asking is so if i get a regular T/A, i will know how to upgrade the suspension, that's basically the point of the question. does anybody know? sorry for all the confusion

Hood, rims, stiffer suspension.
I don't know what the exact name of the shocks are, (Bilsteins I think) but they are stiffer. Honestly there isn't much of a difference. I think the springs might be different as well.
Any way It is all stuff you can buy on your own. Once you install it you can tell every one you saved about $1,500 and you now have a WS7.
WS7 is the name the guys call a trans am they upgraded them selves.

I know I'm still not giving you the names you want but here is what the sales brochure (spelling) says word for word.
"WS6 Performance and Handling Package:Includes Ram Air Induction System, specifically tuned suspension, dual outlet polished exhaust, power steering cooler, specific 17" aluminum high-polished wheels(QB6), and P275/40ZR17 Goodyear Eagle F1 speed-rated tires (limited exterior color availability)"
Word for word. Hope this helps a little.
Also the Autos have a 3.23 rearend instead of the 2.73. Manuals have the same gearing.

the cool little emblem isnt cheap
anyway, if your just want the hood, I would still go with the WS6, its hard to get the paint to match exactly and the price between WS6 and regular TA isn't likely to be that big.

Ram Air hood
WS6 lower air box
32mm front sway bar
1LE springs (for '98, '99, and some '00s)
WS6 badging & Ram Air decals
Lower restriction catback
17" high polished wheels w/ 275/40/ZR17 tires
Jounce spacers for 17X9" wheels
Power steering cooler
Also, 3.23 performance axle is on every WS6 I've ever seen, but it is listed as a separate cost option ($300) on the window sticker.
