Metallic Pewter- 2002 SLP Firehawk
what do you think about this idea?
i want to paint the fender stripes you see on a corvette but instead of just one side i want them on both fenders blue ones.As well as the "trans am" lettering on the doors and maybe the "Pontiac" on the rear bumper. what are some of the opinions you guys have on this?

Your best bet is to peruse some of the appearance threads, the post pics of your bird thread, etc... Take a look at what other members have done and go from there. That should give you a pretty good idea of what works and what doesn't. I do like the stripes you mentioned, and believe I have seen them on a couple of F-bodies... most recent may have been featured in GMHTP.

i vote 25th anniversary style center stripe, because you dont have Ramair...
but maybe make it wider so it looks more like:
then again...double hashes on the fender does look good.. just one on both sides would be...bleh

I personally am not a fan of the double fender stripes. Leave 'em on the 'vettes, and maybe Camaros.
How about this? Since you don't have a WS6 hood (right?), a hood bird. Have you thought of that? They work so much better on the flatter hoods.
