What do you think?
So I finally found myself a replacement DD.
it's a 2002, with 85K miles Pewter Metallic
it's pretty nice, only option it's w/o is the disk changer, and leather.
I'm going to look at it tomorrow, for 6k. try to get the price down a bit.
I'm going to put a ram air hood on it (probably not a functional one tho)
and then get the 30th anniversary decals made in black for it...
what do you guys think and give me some suggestions for visual mods (no performance, I have a formula for that!!)
but does the pewter with black sound good? if anyone has pics post em up!
thanks-

oh yeah, forgot to post a picture of it...
here's the formy, it's a total sleeper. I even got the badges that say "firebird" off my old nbm dd...
people think it's a v6 w/ exhaust!!Last edited by Getzen_Guy; 01-02-2008 at 09:23 PM. Reason: added image of formy

ASC# 285 Born Oct 26 2001- 2002 Collectors EDTA
im in the same boat as him I want to get a black Firebird v6 with T-tops for my daily driver so i can keep the Collectors ed ws6 in the garage for a sunny day.
i dont care about the gas but i can get a firebird for like 4-6k cash and i have it sitting around somewhere.. maybe in the couch!

well i know it's kinda dumb to put money into it, but i plan on having both cars for quite sometime.
my formula is pretty low mileage, and i want to keep it that way.
but i want an f-bod to drive on a daily basis, plus i commute to another town 5 days a week. and this one is pretty nice and not too high miles.
i have a beater, 99 f-150....
parents got it for me way back when.
i just love our cars, regardless of engine....
it's just what day of the week and how fast i wanna go.

I say go for it. It looks pretty nice to me. First thing i would do is swap the hatch with one from a T/A, i seriously hate those low wings that come on firebirds. I think the rear looks terrible with that little spoiler.
99 TA-T56 swapped, Lid, TB Bypass, LS6 Intake, !EGR, !AIR, Custom Cam, Mids, O/R-Y, 3:73s, Cutout, Flowmaster.
A4 numbers w/ mids only 320RWHP 333RWTQ
Cam numbers and track times soon.

idk, maybe....
it all depends, yeah the low profile hatch is pretty ugly.
it's a nice car though, way nicer than my old dd firebird.

Pewter Metallic- 2002 Trans Am WS6 M6 D1SC
haha, yeah people gotta get it straight!
Firebird= V6
Formula= V8
T/A= V8
I think that looks like a great DD car. If your not worried about gas and are gonna drive it everyday then sounds like a good deal.

yeah I have the formula outside under it's cover...
firebird, is sitting out...
trans am is out there somewhere calling my name, I'll find it someday when I can afford it!
innerchi89- I knew i'd seen one like this somewhere on here. i like the body kit on it, it's a change from the typical ta body kit.
Check out my other bird!

I like it! ive always liked the w68 birds. it would make a great dd. hey the 3800 isnt a bad motor either. . . its just a puss when ya compair it to the ls1. and i like the spoilers on the birds. . . thats whats cool about the regular bird vs tas, is the difference in their looks. . lil variety!
