Well it definaetley needs a paintjob and front bumper. Figure in $3000 (just a guess) maybe in paint and bodywork I'd just find one in better shape myself. On a positive note the pass door panel isn't cracked. 98 so the sail panel may not need replacing either.

ya I just don't believe that it has had a complete drive-train overhaul. I mean why supposedly dump 10k into the car then ask 4500 for it.

Whatever money was invested appears to be in the sound system to me.

Damage to the front bumper, driver door and rocker panel under the door. Doesn't look like it has been taken care of, other than the stereo, at least.

    I'd pass.

Looks like a parts cars to me, I wouldn't touch it for anything more than $2,300.

yeah that poor T/A has seen better days, makes me sad, but on the plus side it looks like it has good oil pressure.

I would not pay more than 500 for it, it looks like a flood car, or a car that caught on fire and they put it out by driving it into the ocean.

no one dumps $10k for a $4500 recovery Another observation - if the drive train was rebuilt why does it look like it was dug up from a grave yard. That is the most dirty engine bay I've ever seen.

This car looks like it had seriously negligence in its past. I have a 98 and yes I need to get a paint job in its future but this one looks like total ass.

Even trailer parks have standards and wouldn't let it grace their law.

With all said I would only offer maybe $2k. My reason is most can be cleaned up and that would be after a serious look at what damage the car has. If it is just fender damage that is replaceable, frame damage then this car value just became a parts car and I'd only offer $800.

Stay away, it looks like a street rat to me. Hammered hard. If you can get it for under 4000.00 and you are good with a wrench they it may be a decent buy. I would keep looking.

Thats funny because before I saw this I emailed the guy also asking him if he had paperwork for the rebuild and he gave me a similar response

Report him and his email response to Ebay. Your questions are normal questions a buyer will ask.

Get him to defend his actions.

It's really not worth reporting him, as much as I'd like to.

I reported him. Feel kinda bad but all I was trying to do was get background information on the car.
